From sculptural lighting and hardwood serving trays to custom frames and giftable accessories, each piece is shaped in solid wood, made in small batches, and finished by hand in my garage, with care and a little sawdust.
In March of 2025 I traveled to Thailand to spend a month with my dad. Everyday on our way home, we drove past Boon Rawd Brewery Park, a massive 3,400-acre eco-tourism destination in Chiang Rai. And in the front stood the distinctive 20 feet tall golden Singha logo dominating a landscape at the entrance. I started sketching and planning for my wooden singha sculpture. It always reminds me of the wonderful times I spent with my dad. I carved it from segmented walnut and maple blocks, and shaped it by hand in my garage. It's why the Singha is my mark.
Built five custom wood pieces to transform a cluttered pantry into an organized, functional space. All designed and sized to fit the exact dimensions of the room.
This is really a step up for me. A chair is one of the hardest things to build. It's in the prototype stage and I'm planning to build it with walnut. To be continued...
I take custom commissions for furniture, storage, frames, and more. Send me the dimensions, your wood preference, and any details — I'll build it.
Start a conversation"Loong Pete" is Thai for "Uncle Pete," and it's what all my kids' friends call me. Since this began with me making wooden pieces for family and friends, I wanted to keep that same sense of warmth and connection at the heart of everything I create (whether it's for loved ones or for you!).
It started with a birdhouse and my daughters.
About five years ago, I built a birdhouse with my daughters and discovered something I didn't want to stop doing. Since then, woodworking has grown from curiosity into craft. I'm self-taught and always learning. I make anything from small boxes to larger statement pieces by hand, one build at a time.
